The Swedish Copyright Office and Consultants -SCOC AB, is the Copyright, IP and Financial Solutions Consulting Company based in Stockholm, Sweden.

The Company has been commissioned by State Bodies and Authors Organisations to deliver consultancy, researches, practical solutions, studies and reports on different scopes of IP and economic issues.

The consultancy services include copyright, author's rights, IP matters, culture, cultural economics, financial investments, economic solutions, development projects, organisational structure development and campaigns.

Mats Lindberg is the founder and co-owner of Swedish Copyright Office and Consultants - SCOC AB.

Mats Lindberg was the founder of Bildupphovsrätt i Sverige, the first Visual Copyright Society in Sweden (BUS), and its former CEO from 1989 to 2020. Since 2020, he is its Senior Adviser.

 

Mats Lindberg represents the visual artists, photographers and illustrators on the Boards of Directors of both Bonus Copyright Access (RRO in Sweden) since 1985 and Copyswede (Cable TV and Private Copy collection society) 1985–2019. He is currently the 1^st vice President of Bonus CA.

 

Mats Lindberg was on the IFRRO board 1997–1998 and 2006–2014 and on the CISAC board 2007–2013 and 2016–2020. He was also one of the founders of Confederation EVA, European Visual Authors, and was on its Board 1997–2020 and for some years its President.

Mats Lindberg was one of the founders of International Authors Forum, the membership body for organisations representing authors all over the world.

 

Mats Lindberg is an expert in collective management and author's rights. He has been engaged in copyright development projects in Africa, Russia, USA and resale rights development projects in Africa, China and USA. He is an expert in financial solutions, organisational developments and economic investments.

 

Mats Lindberg's educational background is in economics and he is a graduate of Stockholm University.
